"Vicuña Fine" Alpacas

Stargazer Ranch - Loveland, Colorado

Streaming Alpaca Camera

This camera is usually veiwing the outdoor "Birthing Pen" which houses our expectant dams and newly delivered cria and dams! (a/k/a babies and moms) We hope you enjoy the activity and crias as much as we do.

We will have crias born year round except for some of the most severe weather months. Unlike most other livestock, alpacas are able to get pregnant and deliver anytime of the year. Our busiest birthing seasons are Spring and Fall.

Don't hesitate to arrange a visit or drop us a line. We like hearing from our "urban" visitors and sharing experiences with other breeders.

Inside Alpaca Camera

Snapshot picture should refresh every few seconds.

The normal camera view is watching the inside stall area of our birthing pen This is located just outside of our office so you may see us frequently coming and going. The area has rubber mats over concrete and is great for helping the alpacs stay cool/warm 9 months of the year. Only during the coldest weather will we put down straw for bedding.

The camera has infra red lighting. Night time viewing is exceptional in this area.

The alpacas in this paddock can come and go freely, unless the weather dictates we need to close them inside. The alpacas, with full winter coats, do exceptionally well in cold and snow. If you ever notice something that "doesn't seem right", please don't hesitate to email us. If you think it is an emergency, please call.
