Caligula's genetics are available in Award Winning Color!

Sensation is the full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo son of the highly influential Accoyo Caligula. In his lifetime and of 203 crias, Caligula produced only four full Peruvian fawn males. We are pleased that Sensation is one of that elite group. His dam, Flirtation, won the AOBA fleece show fawn class as a yearling and is also the dam of Futurity Champion PCA Peruvian Microsoft. Sensation LOOKS like his sire, carrying Caligula's presence and erect posture. He has to-the-tips crimp measuring 10 per inch, unbelievable density, character and brightness of the fleeces typical of the Caligula line.

One of Sensations most incredible features is  his primary fibers (guard hair) are barely discernable from his secondary fiber. No wonder why he swept AOBA Nationals Spin-off for huacayas two years on a row.

Caligula passed away in April of 2003. But, his extreme density, extraordinary crimp and character, is available through Sensation!

Flirtation won the AOBA fleece show fawn class as a yearling. She is also the dam of Futurity Champion Peruvian Microsoft, who stands stud at Pacific Crest Alpacas in Oregon.

Spring 2003 marked the end of an era when Caligula passed away at age 16. Proud and robust to the end, he had as great an impact on the North American alpaca industry as perhaps any other herdsire. During his reign he won many Get of Sire Competitions, three AOBA National Get of Sire contests and AAA Futurity Herdsire of the Year in 2001. His offspring, known for the majestic presence of their sire and brilliant uniform fleeces will be a fitting legacy, as they continue to dominate the show ring and contribute to improving the breed throughout the US.
